At the Ministry of Commerce's regular press conference held today, press spokesman Huang Ling explained that recently, China and Kyrgyzstan have reached a series of agreements on deepening practical cooperation in the economic and trade fields. Practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields mainly includes expanding the scale of trade, optimizing the trade structure, raising the level of trade liberalization and facilitation, strengthening cooperation in e-commerce and digital economy; and deepening cooperation in the fields of investment, innovation, and development. The Ministry of Commerce and the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz side signed a joint statement on the progress of negotiations on trade in services and investment agreements and a memorandum of understanding on e-commerce cooperation to provide institutional guarantees to raise the level of cooperation in services trade and investment between the two countries and promote cooperation in new business formats such as e-commerce.
