On September 3, Minmetals Xinneng said at the 2026 semi-annual New Energy Industry Group Performance Conference on the Science and Technology Innovation Board that the company's lithium iron phosphate power generation 4 generation product has passed customer evaluation and mass production preparations have begun. Trial production has been completed for the 4th and 4.5 generations, and multiple customer scale evaluations are underway; the 100-ton pilot production line for sodium-ion battery materials is scheduled to be completed and put into operation within the year.
