Hutchmed Grants GSK Global Rights to KRAS-EGFR Antibody Conjugate Cancer Therapy

12:37 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hutchmed (China) (HCM.L) unit Hutchmed Ltd. agreed to grant a GSK (GSK.L) subsidiary global commercialization rights to HMPL-A830, a first-in-class KRAS-EGFR antibody-targeted therapy conjugate. Under the exclusive development and license agreement, GSK will hold commercialization rights worldwide, excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, according to a Thursday release. The London-listed biopharmaceutical company will receive $110 million upfront upon closing, subject to completion of antitrust regulatory reviews. It is also eligible for up to $1.30 billion in development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments, as well as royalties on net sales. Hutchmed Ltd. will lead the global phase 1 development program, which is expected to start in the second half of 2026. Meanwhile, GSK will be responsible for all subsequent clinical development and commercialization activities.
