This morning, the State Fire and Rescue Administration held a regular press conference to read the relevant content of the recently issued “National Fire Safety Quality Improvement Action Work Plan”. According to the “Plan”, efforts should be made to enhance citizens' awareness of fire safety over a period of about 5 years; everyone “knows common sense, knows risks, and can take refuge”; improve the basic skills of national firefighting, “can detect, alarm, and help themselves”; improve the prevention and control capabilities of key population groups in the unit to “investigate and correct hidden hazards, can fight incipient fires, and organize evacuations and escapes”; broaden channels for citizens to obtain fire protection knowledge and skills to achieve a platform for publicity, have positions, work teams, and cover no blind spots.
