Odfjell Drilling Unit Wins Longstanding Tax Case Against Norwegian Tax Office

The Supreme Court's appeals committee decided not to admit the tax authority's appeal, making the Gulating Court of Appeal's previous verdict in favor of Odfjell Offshore "final and legally binding," according to a Wednesday release. As such, the engineering services company will receive a repayment of the initial amount plus interest and certain costs related to the case, corresponding to $37 million.
