Among them, the elderly are Chinese citizens who have reached the age of 60 and above as of 00:00 on September 1, 2026. The survey covered 31 provinces and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; the survey design sample size was 330,000 people, and the total sample ratio was about 1/1000. The survey includes the basic situation of the elderly, family member information, health and medical status, nursing service status, economic status, livable environment status, social participation status, rights protection status, spiritual and cultural living conditions, etc.; the geographical and demographic conditions of the communities where the elderly live, infrastructure and activity places, health and old-age service system construction, and the spiritual culture of the elderly, education and social participation system construction, etc.
