Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical (002317.SZ): Clinical trial application for new indications of onradivir tablets accepted

Zhitong Finance App News, Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical (002317.SZ) issued an announcement. Recently, the clinical trial application for the new drug Onradivir tablets developed independently by Guangdong Zhongsheng Ruichuang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., the holding subsidiary of the company, was accepted by the National Drug Administration (NMPA) and a “Notice of Acceptance” was accepted by the National Drug Administration (NMPA).

According to reports, onradivir tablets are the world's first influenza RNA polymerase PB2 protein inhibitor with a clear mechanism of action and independent global intellectual property rights. It was approved for marketing by NMPA in May 2025. It is proposed to conduct a phase III clinical study on the new indications for onradivir tablets to enroll young people aged 12 and above and adult influenza A participants to evaluate the efficacy and safety of onradivir tablets in treating influenza A virus infection and participants at high risk of influenza-related complications.
