Fast casual concept to celebrate grand opening in Olney on September 23, offering free chicken salad for a year

Chicken Salad Chick of Olney is owned and operated by first-time franchise owners and engaged couple, Jim Schleckser and Carrie Tydings. Originally from Memphis, Carrie holds a bachelor's degree in French and journalism, a master's in communications, and spent years building a career in fundraising communications. She sees her communications background as a natural fit for franchise ownership. Jim has a background in business management, and together, the pair have over three decades of business leadership experience. When exploring different investment options, they were drawn to Chicken Salad Chick's simple business model, delicious menu items, and focus on hospitality and community involvement.
