On September 1, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng met with a delegation led by Chairman McCain of the US-China Trade National Committee in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in fields such as new energy vehicles, information technology, artificial intelligence, medicine and health. Li Lecheng said that President Xi Jinping and President Trump have jointly determined a new position for a “constructive strategic stable relationship between China and the US,” providing important strategic guidance for the next stage of Sino-US relations. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is willing to implement the consensus reached at the meeting between the heads of state of the two countries, strengthen practical cooperation, and create more solid support for the development of bilateral relations. We hope that the US-China Trade National Committee will continue to build a bridge of communication and dialogue between the two countries, create favorable conditions for the healthy development of Sino-US industrial cooperation and economic and trade exchanges.
