Hong Kong Stock Exchange: The average daily turnover of 5-year Chinese treasury bond futures reached 1,727 in the first month of listing

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 1, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange published an article stating that since the listing on August 3, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's five-year Chinese treasury bond futures have continued to attract market attention, and trading activity and market participation have steadily increased. In the first month of listing, the average daily contract volume reached 1,727; the number of open positions increased steadily from 991 on the first trading day to 2,582 at the end of August.

The product has attracted more than 40 market participants to participate in the transaction, covering various types of investors such as asset managers, banks, securities companies, hedge funds and proprietary trading institutions. Meanwhile, the bid-ask spread remained tight in August.
