Affected by the reduction in loading operations at Black Sea ports due to Ukrainian drone attacks, actual crude oil shipments in August at Russia's three major western ports fell to their lowest level in five months. According to port agency reports and ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, the three major ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga, and Novorossiysk exported a total of about 8.48 million tons of crude oil last month, the vast majority of which was Ural crude oil. This export volume is equivalent to about 2 million barrels per day, the lowest since March; in July it was 2.5 million barrels per day.
