04:01 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Swiss Life (SLHN.SW) will cut an estimated 600 roles by the end of 2028 as part of plans to expand its profitability beyond 2027 and improve its operational efficiency. The workforce reduction will be carried out mainly through natural attrition, with half of the layoffs affecting its Swiss Life operations and the remaining half impacting its Swiss Life Asset Managers businesses abroad, according to a Tuesday release. The insurer added that it has trimmed 100 positions through targeted replacement hiring, and expects a further 100 redundancies by the end of 2026.
