On the evening of August 30, the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge, which was invested and built by Hubei Trading Group, officially entered the load test stage. 180 heavy trucks were installed simultaneously on the upper and lower bridge decks, and static and dynamic load tests were carried out over a period of 5 days to comprehensively test the carrying capacity and safety of the bridge and provide a scientific basis for the completion and opening of subsequent projects. The Yanji Yangtze River Bridge uses a double tower single span design. The main span is 1,860 meters, the upper level is a highway, and the lower level is an urban expressway. In the future, it will become an important cross-river channel for three-dimensional transportation of the Edong Air Railway and air and land intermodal transport. It is a key project to promote the cross-river linkage and integrated development of the three cities of Huanggang, Ezhou and Huangshi.
