Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Gijs van Lookeren Campagne, the Co-CEO & Member of the Management Board of Ease2pay N.V. (AMS:EAS2P) recently shelled out €46k to buy stock, at €0.46 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.

Ease2pay Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Gijs van Lookeren Campagne is the biggest insider purchase of Ease2pay shares that we've seen in the last year. That implies that an insider found the current price of €0.49 per share to be enticing. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. If someone buys shares at well below current prices, it's a good sign on balance, but keep in mind they may no longer see value. The good news for Ease2pay share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Gijs van Lookeren Campagne was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.

Gijs van Lookeren Campagne purchased 130.00k shares over the year. The average price per share was €0.46. Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Insiders own 16% of Ease2pay shares, worth about €1.8m. While this is a strong but not outstanding level of insider ownership, it's enough to indicate some alignment between management and smaller shareholders.
