Mechanical and electrical products are the “main force” of China's exports to other SCO member countries. In the first seven months, China exported 1.58 trillion yuan to other SCO member countries, an increase of 13.9% over the previous year. Among them, exports of mechanical and electrical products amounted to 998.35 billion yuan, an increase of 15.7% over the previous year, accounting for more than 60% of China's total exports to other SCO member countries during the same period; exports of automobiles amounted to 119.33 billion yuan, an increase of 71.2% over the previous year, making it the single product that contributed the most. In terms of imports, in the first seven months, China imported 840.21 billion yuan from other SCO member countries, an increase of 16.6% over the previous year. Among them, energy resource-based products were the main growth points. In the first seven months, China imported 364.76 billion yuan of energy products from other SCO member countries, accounting for 43.4% of the total value of China's imports from other SCO member countries during the same period; imports of metal ores, ores, and agricultural products increased by 44.9% and 25.6%, respectively. Looking at specific countries, Russia, India, and Kazakhstan are China's top three trading partners among other SCO member countries. In the first seven months, imports and exports were 1.1 trillion yuan, 748.39 billion yuan, and 224.29 billion yuan respectively, up 21.5%, 18.4%, and 19.4% year-on-year respectively. Together, the three accounted for 85.6% of China's total import and export value to other SCO member countries. In the same period, China's imports and exports to Kyrgyzstan and Egypt amounted to 81.19 billion yuan and 95.19 billion yuan respectively.
