According to the Zhitong Finance App, Future Development Holdings (01259) announced interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group achieved revenue of HK$318 million, an increase of 20.37% over the previous year; the profit attributable to the Company's shareholders during the period was HK$378.52 million, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit; a loss of HK1.72 cents per share.

According to the announcement, in the six months ended June 30, 2026 (reporting period), the Group's catering service business segment achieved revenue of approximately HK$178 million, a decrease of about 16.6% compared with the same period last year (June 30, 2025: approximately HK$214 million). Hong Kong's restaurant industry continues to face many negative factors. Despite macroeconomic indicators showing some signs of stability, consumer sentiment remains weak. Increasing competition, changes in consumption patterns, and rising trends in cross-border and overseas consumption continue to slow down the industry's performance. At the same time, rising operating costs have made management more difficult and put more pressure on enterprises.
