The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 28, in the Hong Kong stock market, Beishui traded a net purchase of HK$1,176 billion. Among them, Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shanghai) had net purchases of HK$885 million and Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shenzhen) had net purchases of HK$291 million.

The individual stocks that Beishui Net bought the most were Shenghong Technology (02476), Zhi Spectrum (02513), and Changfei Optical Cable (06869). The individual stocks sold the most by Beishui Net were China Life Insurance (02628), Alibaba-W (09988), and Tencent (00700).

Shenghong Technology (02476) plummeted 13% after the results. Beishui attracted funds from the low and made a net purchase of HK$453 million throughout the day. Shenghong Technology's revenue for the first half of the year was 11.629 billion yuan, up 28.77% year on year; net profit to mother was 2,857 billion yuan, up 33.3% year on year. The second quarter achieved revenue of 6.110 billion yuan and net profit to mother of 1,568 billion yuan, up about 10.7% and 21.8%, respectively, from the previous quarter, continuing the growth trend. However, net profit declined year-on-year and month-on-month after deduction in the second quarter. Furthermore, an announcement this morning that Chen Tao, the actual controller of the company, transferred shares to his spouse attracted market attention.

Smart Spectrum (02513) received a net purchase of HK$341 million. On the evening of August 26, Smart Spectrum officially launched and open-sourced GLM-5.3-Flash (320B-A18B). This is the first native multi-modal model in the GLM-5 series. Its total parameters are 320B, and its ability exceeds GLM-5.2. It scored 57 points in the world's authoritative Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index (AA Comprehensive Intelligence Index), and entered the global cutting-edge model capability range, which is the same as Anthropic's most popular model Claude Opus 4.8.

Changfei Optical Fiber Cable (06869) received a net purchase of HK$295 million. Goldman Sachs pointed out that Changfei Optical Fiber Cable's net profit for the second quarter of this year surged by 606% to 2.4 billion yuan, which is in line with the company's earlier forecast range of 1.9 billion to 2.5 billion yuan, mainly driven by the increase in the average sales price of optical fiber products. The gross margin for the period reached 60.5%, far higher than 41.5% in the first quarter and 28.7% in the same period last year, outperforming the bank's expectations.

Jiantao Laminate (01888) received a net purchase of HK$216 million. Jiantao Laminate issued price increase notices to customers, announcing price increases for some of its products from now on, with an increase of 10%-20%. This is the 7th time during the year that Jiantao Laminate has issued a price increase letter. Since March, it has basically risen once a month. According to preliminary calculations, FR-4 copper-clad sheets (thickness above 1.3 mm) alone have accumulated an increase of over 100% based on compound interest calculation.

Huahong Hongli (01347) and SMIC (00981) were net sold at HK$81.44 million and HK$142 million respectively. Goldman Sachs released a research report saying that semiconductor capital expenditure data disclosed during the second quarter earnings season generally exceeded expectations, and superimposed equipment suppliers gave a more optimistic outlook, which together drove this round of major revisions to forecasts. The bank sharply raised its global fab equipment spending forecast for the next three years, raising the market size forecast for 2026 to 2028 to 150 billion, 218 billion and 281 billion US dollars, respectively. The increase significantly exceeded previous expectations.

Alibaba-W (09988) had a net sale of HK$380 million. Alibaba recently announced a HK$80 billion IPO. All proceeds will be invested in full-stack AI capabilities and AI infrastructure construction. According to sources, Alibaba founder Jack Ma has increased his Hong Kong holdings of Alibaba shares for several days, with a total investment of more than 600 million Hong Kong dollars. So far, Ma Yun and Ali's management have recently increased their total holdings by more than HK$800 million.

In addition, GigaYi Innovation (03986) and Kangfang Biotech (09926) received net purchases of HK$102 million and HK$91.89 million respectively. China Life Insurance (02628) and Tencent (00700) had net sales of HK$888 million and HK$143 million respectively.
