German Annual Import Prices Rise 6.8% in July

02:06 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's import prices climbed 6.8% year over year in July, compared with a 6.1% increase in the previous month, the country's Federal Statistical Office said Friday. On a monthly basis, German import prices were 0.2% higher, against the 0.7% decline earlier and the expected 0.3% growth.
