As of 10:00 on August 28, the national comprehensive fire rescue team had dispatched a total of 681 people and 113 vehicles to the scene for rescue, and had dispatched 6,612 pieces of rescue equipment and comprehensive support materials in 3 categories and 19 varieties to Geelong Town. Currently, according to the rescue action plan described above, the fire rescue team has set up three special rescue operation teams to carry out search and rescue work for missing persons using waterway dinghy entry, hiking up mountains by land, and aerial drone reconnaissance and delivery. At the same time, a team was dispatched to use drones and telescopes to carry out surveying, mapping, reconnaissance, and fixed-point monitoring and observation of the affected core area and weir lake area. All 13 experts from the Shanghai Fire Research Institute have arrived safely.
