Cadence Minerals Affiliate Advances Plant License Application for Amapá Project in Brazil

04:13 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cadence Minerals (KDNC.L) said Thursday the operator of the Amapá iron ore project in Brazil, DEV Mineração, has applied to the Amapá State Environmental Secretariat for a license to operate the site's Azteca processing plant. The mineral resource developer, which indirectly holds a 36.2% stake in DEV Mineração, also noted that ongoing refurbishment work at the plant has reached 97% weighted physical completion as of Aug. 22, compared with the expected 95% progress at this time. It added that it remains on track to complete the renovation program by Aug. 31.
