Yuanda Pharmaceutical (00512)'s nuclear drug anti-tumor sector revenue surged 55.4% in the first half of the year, with sufficient pipeline reserves to wait for 2027-2028 R&D milestones to be achieved

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yuanda Pharmaceutical (00512) announced its 2026 interim results, achieving revenue of about HK$6.389 billion, an increase of about 3.2% over the previous year. Gross profit was approximately HK$3.368 billion, and profit attributable to company owners was approximately HK$1,062 billion.

Among them, technology products for anti-tumor diagnosis and treatment of nuclear drugs and precise cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment achieved revenue of about HK$745 million, an increase of about 29% over the previous year. The nuclear medicine anti-tumor segment achieved revenue of approximately HK$655 million, up about 55.4% year over year. The increase was mainly due to the rapid increase in clinical demand for core products and revenue growth brought about by the rapid release of new products. The precise cardiovascular and cerebrovascular intervention diagnosis and treatment sector earned approximately HK$89.89 million.

Biotech products achieved revenue of approximately HK$2.37 billion, up about 34.2% year over year. Among them, the amino acid sector (including taurine) achieved revenue of approximately HK$1.87 billion, up about 30.9% year over year. The increase was mainly due to increased sales prices for core products, while demand in the downstream market expanded, driving business scale growth.

As of 2026 until the date of this announcement, the Group has achieved 18 important milestones, including 8 innovative products, 6 generic products; 3 pharmaceutical products; and 1 important cooperation. At the same time, the Group's continuous rapid release of innovative and barrier products such as Yigantai ® yttrium [90Y] microsphere injections and the liquid embolizer Lava TM, as well as the sharp rise in volume and price of core products in the biotechnology sector, have successfully contributed to the steady growth of the Group's performance.

According to the announcement, the Group firmly implements innovation-driven and Go Global strategies, optimizes R&D resource allocation, focuses on high barriers such as anti-cancer and severe anti-infection racetracks, and also lays out cutting-edge fields such as mRNA innovation and ophthalmology innovation anthers, and relies on a full-chain R&D platform to build a short, medium- and long-term stepped innovation pipeline, and R&D transformation efficiency continues to improve. The Group's global clinical and “China-US Double Report” registration system is mature, and various products have obtained clinical licenses from international drug regulatory agencies; the clinical results of the core products have been published in top international journals and have been incorporated into authoritative diagnosis and treatment guidelines at home and abroad, which strongly supports the commercialization process.
