National Oceanic Forecast Office: The center of typhoon “Shader” No. 18 of this year is at 5 o'clock this afternoon on the surface of the sea about 600 kilometers north-east of the Zhejiang and Fujian border. It is expected that “Shader” will first move westerly at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. It will move west-southward from the morning of the 27th. It will land along the coast from Xiangshan in Zhejiang to Lianjiang in Fujian from the night of the 27th to the morning of the 28th. The intensity will gradually decrease after landing. It is expected that from the afternoon of August 27th to the afternoon of August 28th, the East China Sea will have strong waves of 7 to 10 meters in the wild waves. The warning level for offshore waters is orange; huge waves of 4 to 7 meters will occur in the coastal waters of Zhejiang, and the wave warning level for this coastal area is red!
