USI announced that it plans to use its own capital to increase the capital of UNIVERSAL SCIENTIFIC INDUSTRIAL VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED, a wholly-owned subsidiary in Vietnam by US$120 million through its wholly-owned subsidiary Huanhong Electronics Co., Ltd. After the capital increase is completed, the registered capital of the Vietnamese subsidiary will increase from US$115 million to US$235 million, and it will remain a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The capital increase capital was mainly used for capital expenses for the expansion of the second plant and capacity expansion of the Vietnamese subsidiary Haipong Changrui Industrial Park. The capital increase was reviewed and approved by the 2nd meeting of the 7th board of directors of the company. There is no need to submit it to the shareholders' meeting for consideration, and it does not constitute a related transaction or major asset restructuring.
