Austriacard Set for Squeeze-out, Delisting Following Dai Nippon Takeover Offer

12:22 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Austriacard (ACAG.VI) said Wednesday that Dai Nippon Printing plans to pursue a squeeze-out of the remaining shares in the company following its voluntary public takeover offer. The Japanese bidder's offer was accepted for 96.55% of the Austrian payment services company's shares, subject to approval from Austria's foreign direct investment authority. Following the squeeze-out, Austriacard will be delisted from the Vienna Stock Exchange and Euronext Athens.
