According to the National Food and Material Reserve Administration, the 11th APEC Ministerial Conference on Food Security was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang on August 25. The conference adopted and released the “Principles Document on Innovation and Digitalization to Enhance the Resilience of the Asia-Pacific Food System”, which calls on all economies to apply innovative achievements and digital technology such as artificial intelligence to improve the decision-making ability, level of connectivity and response speed of the entire food system chain, promote the food system to better anticipate risks, withstand shocks, adapt to changes and restore production capacity, and improve operational efficiency and overall efficiency.
