The company's most important natural gas sales sector effectively withstood downward pressure. The operating results of other business segments also maintained a good level, and overall profits achieved a steady upward trend. In the first half of the year, the company's total sales volume of natural gas was 30.156 billion cubic meters, up 3.65% year on year; of these, retail gas volume reached 16.381 billion cubic meters, mainly affected by the decline in gas consumption in some industrial sectors, which decreased by 1.71% year on year. Revenue was RMB 82,679 billion, up 3.25% year on year; profit before income tax was RMB 4.227 billion, down 5.58% year on year.
