BTC's $8.3 million ultimate resistance: breaking through or welcoming a bull market

According to Woofun AI, CryptoQuant research director Julio Moreno characterized the current $83,000 mark Bitcoin is facing as the 'ultimate resistance level'. This key point consists of a 365-day moving average and is becoming the core variable that determines the short-term direction of the market.

Looking at the technical structure, the 365-day moving average is currently at exactly $83,000 as a long-term trend indicator that smoothed out price fluctuations over the past year. According to data compiled by Woofun AI, the current price of Bitcoin is $80,868, up 2.38% in a single day, and is only one step away from this resistance level.

The underlying reason is that when prices approach this level, early low-level position builders tend to take profits, creating significant selling pressure; Moreno sees this as the 'ultimate hurdle', meaning that a breakthrough will send a strong bullish signal, and vice versa, it may fall into consolidation.

Notably, Bitcoin recently fluctuated in the $70,000-$85,000 range, and the 365-day moving average formed the upper limit of that range. A decisive break is expected to attract institutional capital into the market and challenge the $90,000 area; if the test fails, the price may retreat towards the $75,000 support level.

The more critical variable is that moving averages are essentially lagging indicators, and their predictive effectiveness needs to be comprehensively assessed in combination with macroeconomic data and regulatory policies.

The results of this resistance test are likely to dominate Bitcoin's trend in the next few weeks. Despite the current positive market sentiment, a single technical indicator is insufficient to cover all risks. When formulating trading strategies, investors should avoid relying too much on lagging signals and instead construct a multi-dimensional analytical framework to deal with potential market fluctuations.
