ALT Resources Enters Two Option Agreements for Freedom Gold Project in Australia

04:12 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ALT Resources (ALTR.L) entered into two binding option agreements with Freedom Metals for the Freedom gold mine in North Queensland, Australia. The mining investment company secured the right to acquire a gold stream covering up to 50% of the project's gold output, with first production to commence by the first quarter of 2027, according to a Tuesday release. The agreements also provide the company with a right to acquire a 50% equity interest in Freedom Metals. ALT Resources added that it plans to exercise the options after its admission to the London bourse's AIM segment, which it expects to finalize in October.
