From August 20 to 21, during the 3rd APEC Senior Officials Meeting, the “Asia-Pacific Cooperative Energy Corner” series of seminar activities was held in Dalian. The “Asia-Pacific Cooperative Energy Corner” series of activities aims to warm up the APEC Beijing Energy Conference Week to be held in September and promote experience sharing, policy dialogue and practical cooperation in the energy sector. There are four events including the “APEC Energy Think Tank Forum”, “CCUS/CCS Symposium on Promoting Clean and Efficient Fossil Energy Development and Utilization”, “APEC Zero Carbon Industrial Park Seminar: Practices and Paths for Energy Transition and Carbon Emission Reduction”, and “APEC Artificial Intelligence and Energy Bidirectional Empowerment Technology Seminar”. Participants discussed energy transformation and innovative development paths through special reports, case sharing, and discussions to forge consensus and contribute wisdom to the green and low-carbon transformation of Asia-Pacific energy. Government officials, representatives of energy companies, experts from scientific research institutions, and think-tank scholars from various APEC economies participated in the series of events.
