The National Data Administration held a press conference on “Valuing Data, We are in Action” today. Chen Ronghui, a member of the party group and deputy director of the National Data Administration, said that it will promote departments in all regions to standardize public data licensing operations, guide and support localities and departments in formulating implementation plans and pricing fee standards for public data licensing and operation of local departments in the region. At the local level, 25 provinces across the country have substantially carried out authorized operations. Among them, major economic provinces such as Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong have formed regional public data resource development and utilization policy systems. At the departmental level, departments such as the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Transport, and the China Meteorological Administration are stepping up efforts to effectively implement authorized operations.
