China Index Data Home Edition monitoring shows that from January to July 2026, the number of newly renovated properties opened in key cities was 346, a year-on-year decrease of 30.1%; the number of refurbished housing units was 198,000, a sharp decrease of 33.8% over the previous year. Among them, the number of units opened in July was 46, down 14.8% year on year and 29.2% month on month; the number of renovated housing units was 26,900, down 8.5% year on year.
