Shareholders of GOLDWAY EDU (08160) deposited their shares into Changli Securities with a market value of HK$4.788 million

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, shareholders of GOLDWAY EDU (08160) deposited their shares into Changli Securities on August 24, with a market value of HK$4.788 million, accounting for 5.67%.

GOLDWAY EDU announced that the prerequisites under the placement agreement have been met, the placement was completed on August 24, 2026, and a total of 11.52 million placement shares have been issued and placed to no less than six placers in accordance with the placement agreement. Since not all of the shares placed have been placed, the net proceeds from the placement are approximately HK$4.4 million, which are intended to be used to repay the Group's acceptance notes (principal) and general working capital.
