According to Zhitong Finance App News, CITIC Holdings (00267) announced the 2026 interim results of CITIC Publishing (300788.SZ), with operating income of about 791 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.87%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 77.0585 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 36.42%; basic earnings per share were 0.41 yuan, with a discovery dividend of 1.02 yuan (tax included) for every 10 shares.

According to the announcement, the decline in performance was due to the high base period data driven by the superbestseller “The Past in the Three Realms” series in the same period of the previous year, and book publishing and distribution business revenue fell 13.64% year on year. During this reporting period, CITIC Publishing upgraded its IP operations to the fourth largest business segment along with book publishing and distribution, digital intelligence services, and urban cultural space operations. Revenue from digital intelligence services and urban cultural space operations increased by 8.32% and 13.47% respectively, and IP operations increased 174.46% year over year, achieving rapid growth.
