Hengrui Pharmaceutical announced that the drug marketing license application for HRG2010 capsules, a Class 2 new drug independently developed by the company, was accepted by the State Drug Administration, and the proposed indication for the drug is Parkinson's disease. The current application for marketing is based on a phase III confirmatory study using cazosandopa sustained-release tablets as positive controls. The results showed that it can shorten the “closing” period for patients with Parkinson's disease with fluctuating symptoms, extend the “opening” period, maintain the long-term efficacy of medication, and no new safety signals have been observed. Up to now, the project has invested about 84.2 million yuan in R&D.
