On August 24, the Chinese Language Resources Conservation Project Achievements Exhibition Hall in Changsha, Hunan was officially opened. Relying on the iconic achievements of the “Chinese Language Resources Protection Project” of the Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission, the exhibition hall brought together a total of more than 1,800 pieces of material from Chinese dialects, ethnic minority languages, and culture across the country to create a special exhibition with the theme of “The language lasts forever”, focusing on the construction results of the language protection project since it was launched and implemented in 2015, marking the leap from a “database” to a “active exhibition” of language protection project achievements.
