China Daye Nonferrous Metals (00661) expects net profit of about 458 million yuan in the first half of the year to turn a year-on-year loss into a profit

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Daye Nonferrous Metals (00661) announced that the group expects revenue for the first half of 2026 to be about 40.911 billion yuan, an increase of 39.06% year on year; gross profit of about 1,178 billion yuan, an increase of about 129.18% year on year; and net profit of about 458 million yuan, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit.

According to the announcement, net profit is expected to rise sharply, mainly due to the sharp year-on-year increase in market prices for main and by-products. The company took the initiative to seize market opportunities, adjust raw materials and product structures, and dig deeper into internal measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and improve technology to significantly enhance profit margins.
