Taizhou Water (01542) proposes to appoint Yang Jia and Lin Meiya as non-executive directors

Zhitong Finance App News, Taizhou Water (01542) announced that on August 21, 2026, Mr. Lin Yang and Mr. Shao Aiping resigned as non-executive directors and members of the Board Strategy Committee due to job transfers and retirement, respectively, with immediate effect on the same day. Ms. Hou Meiwen resigned as an independent non-executive director, member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Board Nomination Committee. It will take effect from the end of the special general meeting of shareholders to be held by the company on September 11, 2026 to comply with the listing rules relating to long-term employment as an independent non-executive director.

In addition, the board of directors recommended the appointment of Ms. Yang Jia and Ms. Lin Meiya as non-executive directors, and the appointment of Mr. Guan Yunde as an independent non-executive director of the sixth board of directors. The proposed appointment of the above directors must be approved by the shareholders by an ordinary resolution at the special shareholders' meeting to be valid.
