EU Clears Johnson & Johnson's Tecvayli Combination for Multiple Myeloma

06:21 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission approved Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ.F) Tecvayli combined with daratumumab for adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who were treated with at least one prior therapy. Johnson & Johnson said Friday the approval was supported by the results of the phase 3 MajesTEC-3 study, in which Tecvayli combined with the subcutaneous formulation of daratumumab demonstrated statistically significant improvements in progression-free and overall survival, compared with standard of care regimens. The US-based pharmaceutical company noted that the approval adds the Tecvayli combination as a new treatment option as early as the second line for certain multiple myeloma patients.
