Hong Kong Buildings Department: A total of 9 building plans were approved in June

The Zhitong Finance App learned that the Hong Kong Buildings Department approved a total of 9 building plans in June, including 2 for Hong Kong Island, 3 for Kowloon and 4 for the New Territories. The plans approved above include six residential and commercial developments, one commercial development, one community service development, and one factory and industrial development.

Eleven construction projects have been approved to commence. After completion, these projects will provide a total floor area of 205,132 square meters for residential use, involving 3506 units, and a floor area of 72436 square meters for non-residential use. In addition, the department has also been notified of commencement of superstructure work on 4 construction projects.

The Hong Kong Buildings Department also issued 26 entry slips, including 9 for Hong Kong Island, 8 for Kowloon and 9 for the New Territories.

Among them, the floor area for residential use is 212,421 square meters, with a total of 3,954 units; the floor area for non-residential use is 61,030 square meters.

The total price for newly completed buildings in June was approximately HK$16.2 billion.

In addition, the department approved a building demolition project.

In June, the department received 2,736 reports of unauthorised building works and issued 789 demolition orders for unauthorised buildings.
