Tang Hao, full-time deputy director of the Lingang New Area Management Committee, said that by the end of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, it is expected that 3 100 billion manufacturing clusters will be formed. By 2030, the total industrial output value above scale will exceed 650 billion yuan. Integrated circuits will focus on wafer manufacturing and high-end packaging and testing, driving the full chain layout of design, equipment, and materials, with an output value exceeding 120 billion yuan; smart cars will focus on intelligent breakthroughs, with an output value exceeding 300 billion yuan; and high-end equipment will focus on new energy storage and energy equipment, with an output value exceeding 100 billion yuan. Focusing on key areas such as most structural components, composites, airborne equipment, and engines supporting the final assembly of large aircraft, the civil aviation output value was promoted to exceed 50 billion yuan.
