Shares of Moderna ($MRNA) closed up nearly 177% at $174.38 on August 19 after the company and Merck ($MRK) announced positive Phase 3 results for their personalized mRNA cancer therapy, pushing Moderna's gain since a previously disclosed March Moderna purchase by President Donald Trump's investment account to more than 225% at the close.
