Zhitong Finance App News, May Day Vision (06651) announced that the company has established a joint venture with Shenzhen United Imaging Co., Ltd. (Joint Venture), Shenzhen Wanwu Linchang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Joint Venture). The joint venture mainly focuses on solving the core problem of “lack of real data” in the physical intelligence industry, and launched the “software and hardware integration” physical intelligent data platform AperData (AperData) on August 18, 2026, to provide products and services related to real-world data collection to deliverable and trainable data for the physical intelligence industry.

According to the Company's knowledge, Yonhap Video is an independent third party and has no connection with the Group. Since the maximum applicable percentage ratio calculated for the establishment of a joint venture is less than 5%, the establishment of a joint venture does not constitute a publicized transaction under the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited Securities Listing Rules.

One of the major constraints facing the embodied intelligence industry is the lack of large-scale, high-quality real-world interactive data that can be directly used for model training. The capabilities of the Group and United Imaging are highly complementary: the Group has rich experience in the field of digital twins and data platforms. The Dataverse platform is industry-leading in data lifecycle management, but lacks professional collection hardware capabilities for the real physical world; United Imaging has more than ten years of experience in R&D and manufacturing of camera modules and visual algorithms, a mature mass production supply chain and wearable collection equipment production experience, which can complement the Group. The two sides will fully cooperate in “data platform capabilities” and “imaging hardware capabilities”, which will help the company seize emerging market opportunities for intelligent data infrastructure.

The establishment of the joint venture is a key step in the Group's “three-step” development strategy: the first step, the SimOne platform has been deeply involved in intelligent driving simulation for many years and has now become the most common intelligent driving simulation platform, laying the technical and market foundation for data-driven simulation; in the second step, the Group extends the accumulation of digital twins and simulation to the field of embodied intelligent data infrastructure to build the core infrastructure of the intelligent era through AperData; looking forward to the future, the Group plans to further extend the business to the aerospace field, explore business opportunities related to the aerospace field, and strive to become a coverage A data and simulation infrastructure provider in the fields of intelligent driving, physical intelligence, and aerospace.
