The Xikang High Speed Rail is an important part of the national medium- and long-term railway network planning for the Baohai Corridor and the Beijing-Kunming Corridor in the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed rail corridors. The total length of the new front line is about 171 kilometers, and the design speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
