According to the news, on August 19, Modena and MSD announced that the first phase III clinical trial of the personalized mRNA cancer vaccine IntiSmeran Autogene, which they have collaborated on, obtained initial positive results. The vaccine was used in adjuvant treatment for more than 1,100 high-risk melanoma patients after complete surgical resection, achieving a critical endpoint of survival without recurrence and reducing the risk of distant metastasis. Driven by this, Moderna's stock price soared nearly 177% overnight. The success of this phase III melanoma trial is regarded by the market as a key point for testing the viability of the mRNA personalized cancer vaccine technology path, and the racetrack is expected to usher in an opportunity for value revaluation.
