According to the Zhitong Finance App, Minmetals Resources (01208.HK) announced that Mr. Richard José Flores Rhea and Mr. Tony Nilson González Challa unfortunately died at the company's Las Bambas mining site in Peru on August 18 (Tuesday) Peru time. Mr. Flores is an employee of the Las Bambas mine and Mr. González is an employee of Las Bambas contractor SINAR Peru S.A.C. Two people had an accident while replacing water pumps in a purification tank about nine kilometers from the Las Bambas beneficiation plant. Unfortunately, they were fatally injured.
