Empire Metals Upgrades Mineral Resource Estimate for Pitfield Titanium Project in Western Australia

03:15 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Empire Metals (EEE.L) said Wednesday it revised the mineral resource estimate for its Pitfield project in Western Australia to 8.16 billion tonnes at 4.3% titanium dioxide, or TiO2, containing 349 million tonnes, across the Thomas and Cosgrove deposits. The estimate comprises measured resources of 374 million tonnes at 5.8% TiO2 containing 21.6 million tonnes of TiO2, indicated resources of 3.65 billion tonnes at 4.3% TiO2 containing 154.7 million tonnes of TiO2, and inferred resources of 4.2 billion tonnes at 4.1% TiO2 containing 173 million tonnes of TiO2. The exploration and development company said the estimate confirmed the Pitfield project as the world's largest titanium resource.
