Xin Guobin said that from a new historical starting point, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, tightly grasp the “15th Five-Year Plan” development opportunities, take intelligence as the main line, use practicality as the lead, coordinate technical research, industry cultivation, scenario expansion and safety management, and promote the innovation and development of the robot industry. It will focus on key links such as core components and physical intelligence to open up an innovation chain in industry, academia, research and use. Chinese surgical research institutes and enterprises are encouraged to carry out joint research to create a number of advanced, applicable, and easy-to-use intelligent robot iconic products. It will focus on key industries with wide application space and strong demonstration effects, such as agriculture, medical care, pension, emergency, etc., and the classification organization will carry out production-use twinning research, field application verification, and promotion of mature scenarios to accelerate the iterative upgrading of new technologies and products through large-scale application of new scenarios.
