The Zhitong Finance App learned that China Resources Beer (00291) dropped more than 5% in the afternoon. As of press release, it was down 5.05% to HK$21.04, with a turnover of HK$200 million.

According to the news, China Resources Brewery announced its 2026 interim results in the afternoon. In the first half of this year, it achieved a turnover of 24.24 billion yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 1.24% over the previous year; profit attributable to shareholders was 5.169 billion yuan, down 10.71% year on year; and basic profit per share was 1.59 yuan. An interim dividend of RMB 0.446 per share was paid, compared to RMB 0.464 for the same period last year.

In the first half of this year, the beer business's unaudited consolidated turnover increased 2.2% year over year. Continued high-end development led to a 0.5% year-on-year increase in average sales prices. After deducting revenue confirmed by the investment relocation agreement of approximately RMB 115 million, the Group's beer business's unaudited profit before interest and taxes increased 1.2% year-on-year in the first half of 2026.
