The National Health Commission, the Ministry of Education, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Administration for Disease Control and Prevention jointly issued “Opinions on Strengthening the Rule of Law in Hospitals” today. The “Opinion” points out that currently, the hospital rule of law system is still relatively weak. Some hospitals have obvious shortcomings and weaknesses, such as insufficient thinking about the rule of law and imperfect legal risk prevention mechanisms, and there is an urgent need for improvement and upgrading. The “Opinion” resolutely implements the requirements of the “Regulations of the Communist Party of China on the Comprehensive Work of the Leadership of the Communist Party of China”, focusing on leading the establishment of the rule of law in hospitals, establishing a preventive concept of the rule of law, enhancing people's sense of access to health and the rule of law, highlighting problem orientation, determining the purpose of establishing the rule of law in hospitals, clarifying the main responsibility and supervisory responsibility for establishing the rule of law in hospitals, and making arrangements for the overall establishment of the rule of law in hospitals.
