According to the Zhitong Finance App, Huakong Kangtai (01312) announced that the group expects to have a comprehensive net loss of about HK$67.2 million to HK$100.7 million in the first half of 2026, and a net loss of about HK$321.4 million for the same period in 2025.

According to the announcement, the consolidated net loss during the period is mainly due to the anticipated impairment loss of approximately HK$51 million to HK$63.1 million for the Group's fitness business in Singapore, specifically: (i) impairment loss of property, plant and equipment of about HK$1.6 million to HK$2.4 million; (ii) impairment loss of about HK$9.7 million to HK$14.6 million on right-of-use assets; (iii) impairment loss on intangible assets of approximately HK$12.8 million to HK$19.2 million; and (iv) impairment loss of goodwill relating to the Singapore fitness business HK$900,000.

The expected loss reduction is mainly due to the Group's impairment loss of approximately HK$373.6 million in the first half of 2025, which is significantly higher than the estimated impairment loss of HK$51 million to HK$63.1 million for the Group's fitness business in Singapore during this period.
